Blog Post 3: Egypt project Reflections
I think some in-class activities that helped me on this project were the videos and interactive games, like Walking the nile, Swallowed by the sea, Death in Sakkara etc. They provided a lot of info on Egypt, and were a lot of fun to watch/play also. I also liked all of the assignments we did on the pharaohs. Some stuff in Egypt I would like to learn more about are the pyramids, because I have really only heard of the names of the pyramids. I also think the same thing for the ancient cities like Memphis. I think our group worked very well together. A.P had a little bit of trouble with the art, so the whole grouped helped him finish off a pretty good preview page. We worked pretty well on the script, besides the fact that we goofed off a little bit sometimes. I think we enjoyed making the script. Everyone did their assigned amount in this project, and we all enjoyed it (in my opinion) because we worked hard on it and we did well on it. Personally, I would have not spoken in a Southern accent because it might have made some people think we were in New Orleans, not Egypt. I also would have added a tiny bit less humor in to the movie because we would have some pauses so we wouldn't laugh and we still giggled a little bit. A.P had a SUPER funny narrator voice but we kind of decided that he wouldn't use it, and we all narrated a little. Overall, I think our project might lack a tiny bit of historic things, but it was amazing besides that. I know this because we all think we got a good grade on it because we worked hard and had a good time making this movie.

Blog post 1
I think the most realistic option is to buy some ingredients to make cream puffs. Some good things about it is that it should please the other kids, you wouldn't have to spend a bunch of money on them, and it wouldn't be covered in chalk. Some bad things is that they might be too hard to make, they might take too long to make, and the ingredients might be expensive to. A recipe could be hard to find also.
Another option is to bring an adult in your favor to the situation. They would just have to tell kids that they were made for a parent thing and that they also got something bad on them. A good person for this would be Mrs. Baker. Some bad things is that the other kids might call Holling a wimp, they might not believe the adult, and it might be hard to convince a adult to do that for him.
